The MarketPlace Movement is a Spirit-filled faith community in Dayton, Ohio. We exist because Jesus gave us a mandate before He gave us a method. That mandate is the Great Commission, and it does not end at the church door. It moves with us into every home, every workplace, every street, and every sphere of life where people are waiting to hear that the Kingdom of God is near.
We gather to be formed. We scatter to fulfill the mission. Our model follows the pattern of Jesus Himself, who went throughout the region teaching, proclaiming, and meeting people at the point of their need. We are a people who believe that reaching a life, enhancing a life, and advancing a life are not separate from the Gospel. They are the Gospel in motion.
We are led by Bishop Robert W. Lyons, Jr., pastor, teacher, and presiding bishop, and his wife Pastor Jamila Lyons, under whose leadership MPM pursues authentic encounter with God and genuine, measurable impact in the community we are called to serve.

Our Pastors
Bishop Robert W. Lyons, Jr. serves as pastor, teacher, and presiding bishop of The MarketPlace Movement. His ministry is grounded in the conviction that the Great Commission does not end at the church door. It moves with us into every home, every workplace, every street, and every sphere of life where people are waiting to hear that the Kingdom of God is near.
He is joined in ministry and in life by Pastor Jamila Lyons, whose pastoral heart, intercessory depth, and servant leadership are woven into the fabric of everything MPM does.
Together they lead a community of people committed to authentic encounter with God and genuine, measurable impact in the city of Dayton and beyond.
